"J'ai des tête à tête à perte de vue avec chopin" E. Delacroix

Merci au Porteur d'histoire et à Alexis Michalik. Grâce à cette pièce incroyable, à ce grenier* rempli d'Histoire, à cette bibliothèque de l'imagination, nous voyageons dans l'espace et le temps avec un plaisir toujours plus grand. Les répétitions sont pleines d'échanges d'idées, de découvertes ou de redécouvertes, de débats parfois un peu étranges comme celui sur la coiffe de "l'homme sans âge" ou encore celui sur les peintures d'Eugène Delacroix : Existe-t-elle cette peinture d'une femme et d'un homme sans âge au bord d'une fontaine ?

​Bon, pas facile à suivre pour vous qui n'avez pas encore vu ou lu cette pièce. Mais finalement ça n'est pas très grave, voyagez un peu avec nous, dans nos déambulations culturelles et historiques ;-)
Delacroix était un ami intime du couple Sand et Chopin. En 1938, lors d'un séjour à Nohant, début des amours entre ses deux amis, Delacroix commença une toile "George Sand et Chopin" qui resta inachevée. Ce tableau demeura dans l'atelier de Delacroix jusqu'à sa mort en 1863. Mais voilà... une énigme plane sur ce tableau ! 
En effet, entre 1838 et 1872, ce tableau a été découpé !
​Oh horreur ! Qu'a-t-il bien pu se passer ? Qui a pu oser faire une chose pareille ? Pourquoi ? Quand ? Déchiré ou découpé proprement ? L'Histoire ne nous l'a jamais racontée...
La porte reste ouverte à tout ce que l'on voudra imaginer... Personnellement des tas d'histoires me trottent déjà dans la tête ;-) Et vous ?

Thanks to the Story Keeper and Alexis Michalik. Thanks to this incredible play, to this attic  full of history, to this library of imagination, we travel in time and space with ever greater pleasure. The rehearsals are filled with exchanges of ideas, discoveries or rediscoveries, debates sometimes a little strange like the one of the headdress of the "man without age" or the one of the paintings of Eugène Delacroix: Does it exist this painting of a woman and a man without age at the edge of a fountain?

Well, it might not be easy to follow for you who have not yet seen or read this play. But actually it isn't a problem, travel a little bit with us, in our cultural and historical wanderings ;-)
Delacroix was an intimate friend of the Sand and Chopin couple. In 1938, during a stay in Nohant, the beginning of the love affair between his two friends, Delacroix began a painting "George Sand and Chopin" which remained unfinished. This painting remained in the studio of Delacroix until his death in 1863. But here ... an enigma hovers over this picture!
Indeed, between 1838 and 1872, this painting was cut up!
Oh horror! What could have happened? Who could dare to do such a thing? Why ? When? Torn or cut cleanly? History  was never able to tell ...
The door remains open to whatever one wants to imagine ... Personally, lots of stories are already trotting in my head ;-) What about you?
