FRENCH BACKGROUND*
5 to 12yo
A complete French immersion through acting, movement, body & verbal communications, craft activities.
From 9am to 3pm (Friday 9am-4/30pm)

*French background: a child who has at least 1 French-speaking parent or who has been well exposed to the French language or who can understand well instructions. Many children understand but have difficulty expressing themselves in French.
*French learners: a child who is learning French at school or with a tutor.

We love to offer the kids a way to enjoy French!
That's why we never force a kid to speak on stage if he/she is too much stressed. We are going slowly but surely ;-) Some kids say only a word or two on stage, but they are speaking and listening a lot during the preparation. The real benefit of this program is the process of creation. The children are encouraged to create their own French story based on the theme of the week. They are working through improvisation in a group. We help them structure their story. When they are old enough they are writing their text and learning by heart. They are fully engaged because it is their own creation. We are always amazed by the huge pleasure they have. The excitement is at its height for their performance.

- Drama training including breathing, body warm up, voice warm up, various concentration exercises, group work etc...
- Theme presentation: listening, understanding and talking.
- Decor and/or costumes/props: craft activities linked to the performance.
- Presentation: At the end of the week, the kids will present their work.

Merci pour les photos et bravo à toute l’équipe. Margot a passé une super semaine et le spectacle était plein d’imagination et de créativité. Nous avons également apprécié le early pick up et late drop off qui facilite la logistique des parents qui travaillent et permettent aux enfants de se retrouver un peu plus longtemps dans un cadre francophone. Probablement épuisant pour vous, mais on apprécie les efforts!

The only comment I would made is to make the program available in your north Perth location would be preferred.
All of our boys are asking for French theatre. They loved it, we loved watching it. It has been great.
I would just like to say thank you all so very much for the wonderful week you gave our girls. They absolutely loved it and had a great time and of course the French immersion was so beneficial for them. We loved the spectacle also. It was so very special. Please pass our thanks onto Stella and the rest of the teachers.
