French activities for French learners

Practising French in different ways is always a good addition to the learning journey of students.
We propose to come to your classroom to explore French language & culture with various activities, to give opportunities to students to connect more deeply with the language.
Workshops are prepared in relation to the level of the classroom from beginner to advanced.
Each workshop instructor is a professional in its field and has a valid Work With Children card.

Using French in another way allowing students to experience the language in a different context.
  • French drama training - 1:30 session. Price: $320*
Interest: Breathing, stress, pronunciation, group building
  • French Painting - 3 x 1h session (or 2 x 1h30). Price: $650*
​Interest: French artist, Vocabulary, concentration, art & culture
  • French contemporary dance - 1h session. Price: $210*
​interest: French song, vocabulary, concentration, group work, art & culture
​*+ travel fee if applicable (50c per km there and back if the venue is over 15km from the Perth CBD)

French Drama Training

School year: 7 to 12
Duration: 1:30
Price: $320* (recommended: 1 session per term)
Number of students: max 16

Interest: Breathing, stress management, pronunciation, group building
Material or space: No material needed - Empty room that allows movement
School year: 7 to 12
Duration: 3h (can be done in 1 or more sessions)
Price: $650* 
Number of students: max 15
Interest: French artist, Vocabulary, concentration, art & culture
Material or/& space: Ideally art room

Depending on the class level, French language will be adapted. 
Suggestion/Tip: First training can be disturbing for students, the repetition of some exercises will allow them to be more comfortable and gain more confidence. After the workshop, some exercises can be done during class, they will take only few minutes but their advantages are substantial.
​You can also ask for recurring workshops.

 Suggestion/tip: Many students love to draw. Linking a fun activity to their French learning will help memorisation and will reinforce the connection to the language & Culture. Ideal for the youngest to review vocabulary: colour, form, body, material etc... Theme & duration can be discussed.

French contemporary dance

Price: $210* 
Number of students: 15
Interest: French song, vocabulary, concentration, group work, art & culture
Material or space: no material needed - Empty room that allows movement

SESSION STRUCTURE

  • Body warm up
  • Choreography 

Suggestion/Tip: Many students love to dance. Linking a fun activity to their French learning will help memorisation and will reinforce the connection to the language & Culture. The choreography will be prepared related to the words.​
