The Perth French Theatre team is delighted to present this inspiring play at the amazing venue of Locally Crafted. Get ready to experience more about your 5 human senses, as well as explore the incredible power of language.
10 actors and 2 dancers will be on stage to make a tribute to Helen Keller, who overcame the adversity of being blind and deaf to become the first deaf-blind person to earn a bachelor of arts degree. She also became one of the 20th century's leading humanitarians, as well as co-founder of the ACLU (The American Civil Liberties Union). Perth French Theatre troup will emphasise the miracle of the human nature and the powerful capacities of deafblind people. We have chosen to change names of character, time and location from the original play to highlight this timeless subject. Today deafblind people are still fighting to be looked as “normal” people, to be looked as good as we are.
