Notre Dame de Paris Performed in French with English surtitles Thursday 29 November - Sunday 1 December 2018 We are proud to present an original adaptation of Victor Hugo's classic 19th-century novel Notre-Dame de Paris (The Hunchback of Notre Dame) at our new home, La Fabrik!
Set in medieval Paris, this is the story of Quasimodo, the widely-feared bell-ringer at Notre-Dame Cathedral; the orphaned gypsy Esmeralda; and people from all classes of society from beggars to the bourgeoisie. Our production stays true to Victor Hugo with most dialogue taken directly from his text (no Disney musical numbers here!), but we've added our own twists with an original ending and narration by a trio of wise-cracking gargoyles.
With beautiful music, costumes and decor to transport you into another time and place, this new production will enchant French and English speakers alike.
There are five performances only and seats are strictly limited, so book your tickets early to avoid disappointment!
